There has been an increase in the adoption of vacuum casting for resin housings in humanoid robots, transport robots, and security robots, not just for prototypes but as mass-produced parts. We propose vacuum casting to address procurement concerns such as the costs of mass production and lead times for machining. After the master model is completed, we can provide initial samples in as little as 3 days. We can produce 20 vacuum cast items in 3 weeks, and with a setup of 15 vacuum casting machines, we can replicate multiple parts simultaneously.
